The inspiration for the name of this charming room was the brilliant architect, Samuel Maclure, who designed our beloved Latch mansion. It is a luxurious private corner suite with views of a picturesque marina and sparkling blue water dappled with sunshine. On both sides of the headboard of the luxurious King-sized bed are extraordinary wood panels, each one an artistic masterpiece done with a skilled painter’s hand. W.C. Nichol Suite

There is a sense of timelessness, as you are transported back to The Latch’s fascinating past. The suite’s namesake, Lieutenant-Governor W.C.Nichol, was the original owner of the grand mansion. His legacy and those glamourous times live on in this room. The suite looks like a museum of fine art – the handsome Queen-sized bed rests against a wall with spectacular large wood panels painted in vivid colourful forest designs. The Latch Inn POLICIES

The Latch Inn is an exclusive property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 2 (two) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation less a $35 CAD processing fee per room.

In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than (2) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made.

Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30-day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.

Deposit and Payments:
At time of booking a deposit of first night room rate plus applicable taxes will be required to secure your reservation. Rates are processed in Canadian Dollars.

24 hours prior to arrival the balance of your reservation will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.

Check-in: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. If arriving outside of our check-in times, please contact us to make arrangements. Late arrivals are never an issue.

Check-out: 11:00 AM.

Absolutely No Smoking Inside; however designated outdoor smoking areas are available.

Pets are welcome. Please read our pet policy.

Children are welcome.
However, we do not have guest rooms with more than one bed. Our Occupancy Permit allows a maximum of two guests per room.

GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICIES

Gift certificates must be presented at check-in along with a valid driver's license. Gift certificates are transferable. Any remaining amount on gift certificates can be used at a later day up to the expiration date. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM

If arriving outside of check-in times, please call to make arrangements.

AUTO-COLLECT

At the time of booking, the first night's rate will be collected. Payment for all retail items and gift certificates will also be collected. Applies to: all reservations.

CHILDREN & PETS

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult. Pets are welcome. Pets must weigh under 30 pounds. The Latch Inn allows well behaved pets. One medium size or Two small pets for a fee of CAD 35 per pet, per night. Both cats and dogs are permitted, but pets may not be left in the room unattended. There are lawns around the property for pet relief and a park is just two blocks away. The W.C. Nichol Room is our dedicated "Pet Free" room. All other rooms are "Pet Friendly".

CREDIT CARD SECURITY

Your credit card information is stored and processed securely.

PET POLICY

The Latch Inn is pleased to be a pet friendly establishment. To ensure the comfort of our all of our guests we ask that acknowledge the following. Please note: Our W.C. Nichol room is our Pet Free Room - all other suites and rooms are pet friendly. * Pets, including service dogs, may not be left in guest rooms unattended, unless left within a kennel and only if the pet does not create noise disturbances to surrounding guest rooms. Please note the Inn is an intimate property and we are only able to accommodate pets 30 lbs. and under. * The Latch Inn does not accept responsibility or liability for unattended pets. * Pets are not permitted in the dining room or Waterfront Lounge. * Service dogs are exempt from fees and access restrictions. * Pet fee $35.00 CAD per night per room. * Any damages caused to furnishings or carpet will result in damage fees. Fees will be based on repair costs and start at $50.00 CAD. * Unattended pets resulting in noise complaints will be charges an additional $75.00 CAD fee.
